Yoga is therapy all ages and body types can benefit from. One can change their life simply by learning the ancient yogic breath. Through Ashtanga Vinyasa one learns to bring their awareness inside, to honor and listen to their bodies, and to build strength and confidence both physically and emotionally. About the Owner
Kimberly’s life motto is “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” Ghandi
While she has a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering and a Master degree in Finance her passion is health and wellness. Through the years, she has been an avid volunteer shaping the lives of many children and adults through coaching and education programs. In 2009, through the Junior League of Birmingham, MI inc she led the creation of a 5K called “The Dash for Destiny” to help end the epidemic of childhood obesity. In addition, she has coached for Girls on the Run International and her home town swim team. Some of her most rewarding teaching moments have occurred while volunteering as a yoga teacher at Dawn Farm and Danialle Karmanos Work it out. Seeing lives transform one breath at a time inspires her to keep learning and sharing the practice with others.
She has been practicing for more than a decade and earned her 200 Hour Ashtanga Yoga teaching certificate under Jonny Kest. Additionally she has attended a workshop by David Williams. Yoga is her happy place, her sanctuary. She loves to flow with her breath in and out of postures, strengthening mind and body, quieting the world. She is looking forward to sharing the gift of yoga with many others in Saline and the surrounding areas.
